I have always had a love for photography, videography, filmmaking and seeing life through a lens. When I was a kid, my dad would take my older sister and I down to Florida each summer for vacation to visit his family. I remember one year I documented the trip and took pictures at every state line we stopped at.

When I was a kid, my dream growing up was to be a movie director.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Andrews Presbyterian College (now St. Andrews University) in Communications and Theater Arts.

I have several years of experience working with nonprofits performing such duties as photography, videography and marketing.

Currently, I reside in Silver Spring, Md.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking, martial arts, yoga, and playing with my dog.

I'm Michelle. This is my blog. I write about women and fatness, expound upon semi-coherent thoughts I have in the middle of the night, and offer tough love to those in whom I am disappointed; they are legion.
